The Marías Illustration

Print. Illustration. Branding. The Marías are a Latin-influenced psychedelic soul band from Los Angeles who currently have two EP’s and are touring North America. This illustration, along with the collateral designs, were created to promote their Valentine’s Day concert at The Observatory of Orange County. The illustration depicts the lead singer, María, in a graphic novel style with a rose in her mouth. The color palette, psychedelic patterns, and graphic illustration emulate the sound of their music while promoting the romance of their Valentine’s Day show. Class project.
