This advertising campaign was developed with Circle Advertising, Chapman’s student-run advertising agency, as a part of the National Student Advertising Competition. Personally served as a member of the creative team. This campaign received first place in the district of Southern California.
Tai Pei is a frozen Asian food brand with food stocked in grocery store freezers across the United States. In order to drive sales, reposition Tai Pei in the frozen food market, and target a millennial audience, Circle Advertising developed a full scale advertising campaign with “Cut the Extra”. Cut the Extra aims to solve millennial’s busy and hunger-filled life by promoting the hassle-free attributes of Tai Pei’s frozen food. Tai Pei’s advertising, branding, and social media presences are to change in order to complement the brand’s new packaging redesign and promote the campaign. Personal responsibilities involved designing mockups for ad campaign executions. Select executions include in-store freezer barrels, Find Your Way with Tai Pei outdoor decals, branded store tip cards, mock receipts, influencer advertising, branded subscription services, and in-app advertisements.
